Yes, booking with payment upon boarding is available for most routes. There are exceptions: during periods of peak demand, carriers introduce prepayment, and some carriers also require partial prepayment (with the balance paid to the driver upon boarding).
Please note that full online payment on the website has an advantage, as it 100% guarantees your seat (during extremely high demand, carriers may prioritize passengers who purchased tickets in full, canceling tickets for those who did not make a prepayment). To book a ticket, first use the search form on the Home page, select a trip, and fill in the details for the booking. Pay for the ticket online or upon boarding, and you will receive an electronic travel document via email and in the Passenger Account, where you can also manage your booking.
You will receive a travel document (if traveling with payment upon boarding), and upon arrival – the ticket from the driver. If you pay 100% online on the website, you will immediately receive the ticket via email.
Refund terms depend on the ticket payment method:
- Payment upon boarding: You can cancel the booking in your Passenger Account or by calling/writing to our operator.
- Online payment on the website: To receive a refund, you need to fill out and submit an Application form. The refund amount depends on the carrier's terms and the time remaining until the trip departure, which can be found when choosing a ticket by clicking on "Refund Terms". Refunds are made only to the card used for payment, within up to 10 business days.

Usually, payment is made in the currency of the country from which you are departing.
For the "payment upon boarding" method and departures from outside Ukraine: the calculation is based on the exchange rate at the time of departure and is clarified directly by the drivers. If you wish to make the payment in hryvnias, notify the operator for coordination with the carrier.
For citizens of Ukraine:
Adults: passport/ID-card (or another identity document) and ticket.
Children: birth certificate (or passport, if already issued). It is recommended that the full name in the ticket completely matches the document.
Note: e-documents from the "Diia" app are legally equivalent to paper ones in many scenarios, but the carrier may request a physical document in disputed cases.
For foreigners: international passport or temporary/permanent residence permit in Ukraine.
DEPARTURE FROM UKRAINE TO EUROPE:
For citizens of Ukraine:
Adults: biometric international passport, additionally — the right to enter the destination country (visa-free / visa / residence permit / temporary protection document).
Children: international passport required; it is recommended to have a birth certificate.
Medical insurance: mandatory for a Schengen visa. For visa-free travel — not mandatory, but recommended and may be requested during document checks. For residence permit/temporary protection — as required.
Military restrictions for citizens of Ukraine:
- Men 18–22 years old: extended departure options apply from August 2025.
- Men 23–60 years old: departure is possible only if there are legal grounds and supporting documents; military registration documents may be requested during control.
ENTRY INTO UKRAINE:
For citizens of Ukraine:
Adults: documents for traveling abroad are used (international passport, etc.).
Children: international passport required; it is recommended to have a birth certificate.
For foreigners:
Adults: international passport (valid for the entire period of stay), visa — if required, and documents regarding the purpose of the trip/financial proof may be requested; it is advisable to have medical travel insurance.
Children: international passport; it is advisable to have a birth certificate (to confirm relationship with the accompanying person).

The final decision on crossing the border is made by the border service. The carrier / border guards may deny boarding if the full name in the ticket does not match the document or if the document package is incomplete.
Additionally (EU): from October 12, 2025, the EES system (biometric registration) is gradually being implemented at the external borders of Schengen — this may increase control time for buses.
Citizens of EU/Schengen: passport or national ID-card.
Non-EU citizens (including Ukrainians): international passport.
If you are in the EU under temporary protection / residence permit — also have a document confirming this status.
Children: the child needs their own travel document (international passport or, for EU citizens, national ID-card). It is recommended to have a birth certificate (to confirm relationship with the accompanying person).
Children and minors under 16 years of age are allowed to travel on the bus only if they present a notarized copy of parental permission and are accompanied during the trip by a person who has turned 18.

Each carrier has its own baggage policies. Detailed information can be found when searching for a ticket. But usually, the baggage allowance per person should not exceed 30 kg + 5 kg hand luggage, and have parameters of 40*60*90 cm. Please note that the carrier has the full right to refuse to transport hand luggage or baggage if it blocks the aisle in the transport for other passengers or does not comply with the quantity and size limits.

Most carriers allow the transport of small animals in intercity and international buses in a carrier or cage with veterinary documentation. For trips from Ukraine to Europe, the animal must be chipped, have an international veterinary passport and rabies vaccination; an international veterinary certificate may also be required. For the comfortable and safe stay of the animal in the cabin, use a special carrier with an absorbent bottom and ensure clean drinking water is available.
